Adam Nguyen, CC ’98, President
Adam Nguyen, an entrepreneur, is the founder of Ivy Link, an education firm, and a co-founder of eBrevia, an enterprise software start-up. Adam’s career path also included work for investment management companies, law firms, a presidential campaign and the public sector. Adam graduated from Columbia in 1998, where he completed the Pre-Med Program and earned a degree in Economics and Political Science. Adam received his JD from Harvard Law School in 2002, during which he worked in Accra, Ghana on sanitation and healthcare issues. He also studied Applied Economics and Political Philosophy at the University College London, and spent time at the University of California, Berkeley as a Woodrow Wilson Fellow in Public Policy and International Affairs.
Barry Weinberg, CC ’12, V.P. Outreach and External Relations
Barry Weinberg is a 2012 graduate of Columbia College, here he studied political science, economics, and East Asian languages and cultures. While at Columbia, he served as a Co-President of Everyone Allied Against Homophobia, Columbia and Barnard’s queer and allied activist and educational group; the Chair of the Student Governing Board of Earl Hall; a peer advocate at the Gay Health Advocacy Project; and played for the men’s water polo team. He remains active in the effort to endow the Core Curriculum and efforts to promote a vibrant Columbia community on-campus. He looks forward to helping CU Pride better connect LGBT and allied alumni with Columbia faculty, students, and one another.

Carlos graduated from Columbia College in 1988.
Jesse Dean, GS ’08, V.P. Finance
Jesse earned a B.A. in Sociology from GS in 2008. While attending GS, Jesse wrote for the Spectator, attended the SEE-U program in the Dominican Republic, served in various leadership roles, and completed a yearlong thesis: Racially Significant Social and Economic Dissimilation on Montana’s Blackfeet and Flathead Reservations. After graduating, Jesse interned at the World Council of Churches at the United Nations. Currently, Jesse is a marketing and communications manager at ReServe Inc., a NYC-based nonprofit. In his spare time, Jesse volunteers for A Common Bond NYC, spends weekends in the North Fork with his partner, and is training for a marathon.
